A North College Hill man is accused of viciously attacking his girlfriend during an argument.
Police accuse Clarence Underwood of cutting his the woman's hair with a 12-inch survival knife and biting her fingernail off when they fought while doing laundry at their Norcol Lane residence Thursday.
The victim said she was able to escape and call 911.
A judge granted a temporary restraining order requiring Underwood to stay away from her.
He is held at the Hamilton County jail on a domestic violence charge and faces a judge Friday.
