He approached the girl, 17, and asked her age as she walked to a vending machine and he exited a bar on Superior Avenue off Plainfield Road on Sunday, said Deer Park Police Lt. Daniel McCormick.

Shanor also asked her where she lived and offered to walk her home.

She declined, but he showed her a picture of his genitals on his cell phone. He grabbed her chin and stuck his tongue in her mouth, while grabbing her arm and shoving it to his private parts, court records show.

The man asked them to identify their parents. Then, he followed them in a silver vehicle to their residence on South Broadlawn in neighboring Silverton.

He is described as a white male with red hair, a red beard, wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.
