Green Twp. police respond to home for possible shots fired call

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Green Township police were called to a home on Surrey Avenue for a reports of possible shots fired call Sunday night.

Police say they responded to the residence for a person who had reportedly fired shots inside the home and threatened to kill someone. 

According to Green Township police, officers came in contact with Jewell Wilder, 38, of Green Township, who was inside the house, authorities said.   When officers advised Wilder that they needed to check the house for possible shooting victims, she attempted to flee on foot into the back of the house.

Officers were unable to confirm that any shots had been fired inside the house after an investigation.

Wilder was charged with obstructing officials business and misconduct at an emergency.

A second subject was transported to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
