Cincinnati police responded to a 2 a.m. report of a 37-year-old man shot in the 2500 block of McMicken Avenue.
When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his thigh. He also was robbed of his pants and shoes, initial emergency communication reports indicate.
He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.
Police say he is not cooperating with their investigation. He initially told police he shot himself but then said two other men shot him.
