FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) -

Police in this western Hamilton County community searched overnight for several suspects in a home invasion and shooting Monday night.

No one was hit when the gun went off in what police say could be a warning shot in the 100 block of Versailles Drive about 10:30 p.m.

"We don't now if that was accidental or to get compliance," said Officer Steve Hoy.

Three to five men in hooded sweatshirts broke in both doors to a woman's apartment and  held her at gunpoint while they rummaged around.

It wasn't immediately clear if anything was taken.

"We are still working with the victim on that," Hoy said. "She was pretty shaken up."

The woman has told authorities she did not know her assailants.

No arrests were made.
