2 charged in Reading shooting

Two men face charges in connection with an overnight shooting in this Hamilton County city.

Thomas Henry Cromwell IV, 20, was booked into the county jail by 3 a.m. Wednesday on two counts of felonious assault. 

He shot the victim, Andrew Sharp, in the chest with a silver revolver during an altercation in front of several witnesses on Gahl Terrace near Reading Road, Reading police wrote in court records.

Qa'lil Banks, 22, faces a complicity charge. Police say he helped Cromwell flee the shooting scene by driving him away.

Sharp was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. His condition was not released.
