3 charged in series of armed robberies since 2014

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Three individuals were arrested in connection to a series of armed robberies in the Cincinnati area since July 2014. 

Cincinnati police say it is believed that the individuals committed offenses in downtown Cincinnati, Price Hill, Sharonville and Woodlawn.  

Police arrested Savoy Carpenter, from Tower Drive; Aaron Murray, from West Clifton Avenue, and James Crawford, from Gate Street. 

According to police, Carpenter, 21, pleaded guilty to three counts of interference with interstate commerce by act of armed robbery and two counts of brandishing a firearm during an act of violence.  He agreed to a sentence of 32 years in federal prison. 

Murray, 22,  pleaded guilty to two counts of interference with interstate commerce by act of armed robbery and two counts of brandishing a fire arm during an act of violence.  He agreed to a sentence of 32 years in federal prison. 

Crawford, 21, pleaded guilty to one count of interference with interstate commerce by act of armed robbery.  He agreed to 54 months in federal prison

Officials say the sentencing for all three will be in a few months.
