COPY-All-Star makeover for Cincinnati

With the 2015 MLB All-Star game now just 40 days away, finishing touching are being put on several special projects celebrating the event.
On Wednesday crews installed granite markers in the concrete on the terrace outside Great American Ballpark in what will eventually become “Legacy Plaza”.
The plaza will be made up of five sections commemorating the 1938, 1953, 1970, 1988 and 2015 All-Star Games. A limited number of legacy bricks will be offered in each sections. 

Customers will have the option to choose their message for the brick as well as which All-Star section they would like to be included within.  

Brick sponsorships will be available in 4x8 and 8x8 sizes and prices will range from $175 to $395 depending on size and whether or not a Reds or

2015 All-Star logo incorporated into the design.  

All brick sponsorships will include a replica brick mailed directly to the customer.

Sales will begin sometime next week at
Outside the ballpark, in nearby Smale Park, improvements are also being made to welcome All-Star Game visitors.

Crews installed a ‘floral carpet' this week. They used more than 4,000 flowers and plants to create a flower bed in the All-Star Game logo design.

On Thursday, Smale will also officially open the world's largest, outdoor foot piano and chimes. The giant musical instrument one of many improvements made to the park that will open prior to the July 14 game.
