FOX19 - Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information on a serial bank robber who has robbed seven banks since April 2015 in the Northern Kentucky and Central-Southern Ohio areas.

Police describe the suspect as a white, male, clean shaven, age 35 to 45 years old, average height and weight. The suspect has worn a sock hat in all seven robberies and worn glasses in five. In one case, he was last seen in a small maroon four door car.

Officials say in each case the suspect has presented a note demanding cash and claimed to have a gun.

No one has been physically hurt during the robberies, but the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the "sock hat bandit" is asked to call  CrimeStoppers at 352-3040.
