FOX19 NOW talks with Walk the Moon

FOX19 NOW's Kara Sewell talked with Cincinnati-based Walk the Moon Friday evening before the band took the stage at the Bunbury Music Festival.

The indie-rockers were formed in the Queen City by singer and keyboardist, Nicholas Petricca, in 2008. Walk the Moon released their first album 'I Want! I Want!' in 2010.

The album was home to the hit song 'Anna Sun,' which was named song of the summer in 2011 by Esquire.

Right now, Walk the Moon is riding the wave of released single 'Shut Up and Dance.' The song charted fourth on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top-spot on Billboard's rock songs chart and alternative songs chart.

So how did Nicholas, Kevin, Sean and Eli grow from performing in Ohio bars to becoming international sensations? Above is the full interview with band.
