Police say the serial robber that has hit numerous banks in the Tri-State area over the past month has now struck in this Warren County suburb.
The man known as the "Sock Hat Bandit" entered PNC Bank on Ohio 48 just before 11:30 a.m. and presented a bank teller a note demanding money, an act consistent to previous robberies, authorities said.
The suspect fled and remains at large.
No injuries were reported.
He is described as a white male, five-feet-11 inches tall, with a black toboggan and glasses.
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information related to the string of robberies.
