HIGHLAND COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

An estimated 5,800 customers had their power restored just after midnight Sunday.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, nine transformers caught fire at an American Electric Power substation in the Hillsboro region around 6:40 Saturday morning. Officials say most of Hillsboro and surrounding regions should expect the power to be restored by midnight Sunday.

The transformers were unmanned at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
