A shooting victim drove himself to a hospital late Monday, Cincinnati police said.
The victim, 25, arrived at Mercy West Hospital about 8:30 p.m. and said he was shot in the foot by a man who tried to rob him on the street in the 5400 block of Bahama Terrace.
About 90 minutes earlier, police said they responded to a shots fired call in that area but found no victim.
The man told police he did not know his assailant.
No arrests were made. The case remains under investigation.
