Three face arson charges after Franklin fire last month

FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) -

Three suspects are facing arson charges after a fire at the Regulator Rider's Motorcycle Clubhouse in Franklin last month.

Officials say a Franklin police officer while on patrol heard a louse noise coming from the establishment on May 16 at approximately 5:50 a.m.  The officer saw that the clubhouse was on fire and saw a male suspect running from the front of the building. The officer notified to the fire department to respond and then chased the male who was running from the scene.

The suspect ran into the Great Miami River and was apprehended on the west side of the river by officers, authorities say.

Since the incident, three people have been charged with in connection with the arson.

The suspect who was caught in the river was Joshua Kash, 30, of Franklin, was initially charged with inducing panic and now has been charged with arson, according to officials.

James Wilson, 28, of Franklin, and Tyler Webb, 26, of Middletown, were both arrested and charged with arson.

All three suspects will be arraigned in the Franklin Municipal Court on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
