A California gang member fugitive wanted on an attempted murder charge was arrested in the Tri-State over the weekend, authorities announced.
Christopher Anthony Williams, 31, was apprehended Friday on Hebron Court in Winton Hills, Kenton County sheriff's officials posted to the agency's Facebook page.
Authorities say Williams is wanted out of Sacramento, California, on multiple charges including: attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and discharge of firearms at an inhabited dwelling.
An initial investigation led detectives to two Kenton County addresses where Williams was allegedly living. They found a gun at one in Elsmere.
Williams is a suspected member of the Bloods street gang in California, according to Kenton County Sheriff Chuck Korzenborn.
Williams is held without bond at Hamilton County jail awaiting extradition to California.
