Police: Man threatens McDonald's employee over chicken sandwich

WEST PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

An argument over the wait time for a chicken sandwich ended with a man threatening to shoot a McDonald's employee, according to Cincinnati Police.

Melvin Mitchell, 58, is charged with aggravated menacing for incident at the West Price Hill McDonald's on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Mitchell and the manager of the store engaged in a verbal dispute about the time it took Mitchell to receive his chicken sandwich. He then threatened to shoot and kill the employee.

Police arrested Mitchell several blocks away from the store on Glenway Avenue.

A judge on Thursday set his bond at $1,500 and ordered he stay away from the McDonald's location and store manager.
