The Ohio State Highway patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Brown County Friday morning.
The two-vehicle accident occurred on U.S. 68 at S.R. 125 in Pleasant Township around 6:57 a.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 1997 Ford Taurus attempted to turn left onto S.R. 125 from U.S. 68 and was struck by a Chevrolet Colorado.
The front seat passenger of the Ford Taurus, Tyler Faul, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old rear seat passenger was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The driver, Travis Faul, 18, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
