OVER-THE-RHINE (FOX19) -

Cincinnati deadheads who can't make it to a reunion show – or shell out thousands of dollars for tickets – can catch the concert at Washington Park.

The Grateful Dead's “Fare Thee Well” performance at Soldier Field will broadcast live at the park's July Fourth Jam. The show starts at 8 p.m. with fans treated to fireworks in between sets.

The park will boast a full bar, $5 chicken sandwiches from The Eagle and local food trucks for the free event. Face painting and games will also be on hand for the kids, according to the Washington Park calendar.

The high-demand Chicago shows reunite the four original band members - Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and Mickey Hart - nearly two decades after their last concert with Jerry Garcia. Tickets swiftly sold out in February and have averaged $2,000 by second-market vendors.

AMC Theaters at Newport on the Levee also plans to broadcast the three-night concert. Tickets are $18.
