Cancer Experiment

Teen's family pushes for experimental cancer treatment

No company or government agency will help and most doctors have told them it's hopeless. Yet, the parents of a 14-year-old cancer victim say they won't give up trying to help their son. The parents of Jordan Aron are pushing to raise nearly two  million dollars to fund an experimental gene therapy in an attempt to fight the fast-growing childhood cancer.

The family lives in the Youngstown suburb of Boardman. Jordan has a tumor pushing out from his jaw and temple. He had surgery to remove the tumor in July but the cancer roared back in a matter of months, just as it did before.

His parents are fighting for an experimental treatment at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
