NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Police arrested a 25-year-old man and charged him with bringing a gun to fallen Cincinnati Police Officer Sonny Kim's visitation at Xavier University's Cintas Center Thursday.

Kamaron Lyshe of Avondale exited his car on campus along Herald Avenue, opened the rear driver's side door, took out a firearm and put in his waistband, Norwood police wrote in court records.

A marked police patrol car passed by. He concealed his body in the rear driver's side door jamb.

Then, he returned to the driver's seat and remained in the vehicle.

Two officers approached and found him with a loaded Ruger handgun.

Lyshe was held overnight at the Hamilton County jail without bond. He faces one count of illegal conveyance or possession of deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance in a school safety zone.

He has a criminal record. He pleaded guilty to a reduced 2009 count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, court records show.
