Police search for suspects in two separate bank robberies

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police are searching for two suspects in separate bank robberies Friday.

The bank robbery happened at the North Side Bank and Trust in the 2700 block of Madison Road at Michigan Avenue just before 5 p.m. in Norwood.

Officials say a white male entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

The suspect is described as being 25 to 30 years old, five feet six inches to five feet eight inches tall, with a thin build. Police say he was wearing a long sleeve charcoal gray shirt, khaki pants, black and white gym shoes, and a black Cincinnati Reds baseball hat.

Twenty minutes later, police were dispatched to the 400 block of Ludlow Avenue near Whitfield Avenue for a report of a robbery US Bank at approximately 5:20 p.m.

Officials say a white male entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. 

The suspect is described as being 25 to 30 years old, five feet 10 inches to six feet tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve black shirt, gray sweat pants, black shoes, and a black fishing hat. 

Both suspects in the robberies fled in an unknown direction. The amount of money taken in both robberies is undetermined at this time.

No word if they are related.
