The mother of a 39-year-old man gunned down this week in the latest wave of Cincinnati violence admonished his killers Tuesday.
Suliman Abdul Mutakallim died early Tuesday, two days after he was shot about 10:45 p.m. on South Elmore Street, said Cincinnati Police Homicide Sgt. Mike Miller.
Mutakallim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center in "very critical condition," and not expected to survive, police said Sunday night.
Three suspects were seen running eastbound from the shooting scene and remain at large.
The victim's mother spoke directly to her son's assailants on FOX19 NOW.
“Life is too precious and we only have a small time on this earth and you took someone who will always be a part of me,” said Suliman's mother, Rukiye Abdul-Mutakallim. “It wasn't your right to do this and you know that and those of you who know them you can't harbor them."
Mutakallim's homicide comes as shootings are at a 10-year-high in Cincinnati.
