A 73-year-old man accused of trying to stab his wife to death faces a Hamilton County judge Tuesday.
William Lindsey Jr. told Hamilton County sheriff's deputies he stabbed Virginia Lindsey, 59, six times in her abdomen and arm "because she was cheating on him," authorities wrote in court records.
He also said: "I don't want to make what I did worse, I know I am going to jail," records state.
Lindsey is held without bond at the county jail. He faces one count of attempted murder.

The woman was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital in critical condition, court records show. She has since been upgraded to stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.
Officials say William Lindsey Jr. surrendered without incident on scene.
