Pregnant woman doesn't know what motivated her attacker
A pregnant woman who killed her attacker says she doesn't know what the woman was after.
Twenty-six-year-old Sarah Brady says she didn't know Katherine Smith before the two met at Smith's apartment and can't be certain why Smith wanted to kill her. Brady told ABC's "Good Morning America" in interviews aired yesterday and today that the only thing she thought was that Smith was going to kill her and her unborn child.
The 22-year-old Smith died when Brady grabbed Smith's five-inch pocket knife and fought back. No charges have been filed and Commonwealth Attorney Bill Crockett says he hasn't decided whether to present the case to a grand jury.
Fort Mitchell Police Sergeant Tom Loos said Smith used a fake name and a ruse to lure Brady to her apartment with the intent of stealing her baby.
