Walmart is apologizing for making an ISIS-themed cake after declining an order for a Confederate Flag design.

Chuck Netzhammer, of Louisiana, said he requested a custom-made cake with the Confederate flag design accompanied by the words “heritage not hate.” The bakery rejected the idea, writing “cannot do cake” on the order form.

Walmart is one of several retailers that have recently pulled Confederate flag products from the shelves.

In a video posted to YouTube, Netzhammer shows the secondary design choice that Walmart agreed to make: An ISIS battle flag. In the video caption, Netzhammer said he provided the bakery with the flag image and they "cheerfully did it and sold me my ISIS cake."

“That's an ISIS battle flag cake that anybody can go buy at Walmart,” Netzhammer says as he shows off the cake to the camera. “But you can't buy a Confederate flag toy, with like, say, a ‘Dukes of Hazzards' car.”

The video also displays the rejection letter for the Confederate Flag cake and the receipt for the $20.93 ISIS cake.

“Can you please explain why you are alienating Southern Americans with this trash that you allow to be sold in your store?” Netzhammer asks in the video, which has been viewed upwards of 500,000 times.

A Walmart spokesperson says the baker did not know the design was associated with the violent Islamic State militant group.

“Our local store made a mistake. The cake in the video should not have been made and we apologize,” said a Walmart spokesperson.

Amazon, EBay, Target, Etsy and Sears have also banned the sale of Confederate flag merchandise following the mass shooting at a historic African-American church in South Carolina.
