Staffers allege public safety records, training faked

SWITZERLAND CO., IN (FOX19) -

A two month-long FOX19 now investigation uncovered fire and medical training records that current and former Switzerland County staffers claim were faked.

Those certifications involve the Jeff Craig Volunteer Fire Department and the Switzerland County EMS squad.

The fire department’s former assistant chief tells FOX19 NOW his own certifications were fabricated and he witnessed the chief backdating and faking training records.

The fire chief is Chris See, who also serves as Switzerland County’s Emergency Management Director. See’s father, Randy See, is the Director of Switzerland County EMS.

This investigation has also uncovered CPR and AED training certifications multiple people confirm were fabricated. The allegations have led to a state investigation.

Tonight at 10, we’ll air a two part investigation into the allegations, who’s accusing and you’ll hear from the men accused.
