CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Reds assistant hitting coach, Lee Tinsley, has been arrested for OVI in Carroll Co., Kentucky.

Tinsley, 46, was booked into the Carroll Co. jail Tuesday morning, after documents show the coach registering a .08 BAC.

Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price said Tinsley has been put on administrative leave. He said the organization is still in "fact finding stage."

Tinsley joined the Reds in 2014 as the assistant hitting coach after three years as the Cubs' minor league outfield/baserunning coordinator. He was also a first base coach for the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Tinsley played in parts of four MLB seasons (1993-97) with the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies.
