WOODLAWN, OH (FOX19) -

A woman led police on a two-county chase before biting a Lockland Sergeant during her arrest, according to officials.

Police pursued Tara Chitwood, 31, from I-75 South in Butler County to Glendale Milford Road at Wayne Avenue where the vehicle crashed around 5:15 p.m.

Chitwood exited the vehicle with hands in the air stating “come at me,” to the officers, according to an affidavit filed in the Hamilton County Municipal Court. After officers took Chitwood to the ground, she allegedly bit Sgt. Chris Bundren in the arm.

“I observed Miss Chitwood tightening her grip on Sergeant Bundren’s arm with her teeth as he screamed out in pain,” an officer stated in the sworn affidavit. A taser was used to force Chitwood to release her bite.

Chitwood left visible, deep teeth marks and a laceration on Bundren’s arm. He was treated for the injury and released.

Chitwood is charged with felonious assault. It is not yet clear what charges she faces in Butler County.
