Police make three arrests in connection to Fountain Square assault

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police arrested three more suspects with an warrant out for another suspect for their role in a Fountain Square assault that took place over Fourth of July weekend.

On Thursday, Raeshaun Hand, 19, was arrested by investigators at the Hamilton County Probation Office at approximately 3:53 p.m. Shortly after, at 5:30 p.m. Antonio Tremble, 17, was apprehended and arrested at his residence in Over-The-Rhine, police said.

Steven Montgomery, 18, turned himself in with his parents to the Criminal Investigation Section at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday.

All three of those suspects were charged with felonious assault.

Police have issued a warrant for Mordecia Black, 28, for felonious assault.

The assault in question happened when only eight officers were patrolling the square and juveniles began hurling bottles and fireworks at officers, according to officials. Sixty officers were called to the area as the violence unfolded.

Seven people were arrested and two police officers were injured.
