CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Earlier this week it was announced that Ariana Grande had backed out of Saturday night's All-Star concert at Paul Brown Stadium. However, a change-up was quickly announced and Demi Lovato was announced as the new headliner.
Lovato rock out Paul Brown Stadium opening with her newest release, "Cool for the Summer." The musical train kept going for approximately 30,000 fans.
She played her hit songs such as "Heart Attack," "Neon Lights," and "Warrior," while a large fireworks display concluded the free concert.
After the concert ended Lovato tweeted, "What an incredible show.... Wow wow wow. I still can't believe 30k people showed up.... Thank you @MLB for having me #MLBAllStarConcert.
She also posted a photo on Instagram after the concert saying, "Thank you Cincinnati for showing up... #blessed #MLBAllstarConcert
Rixton also opened up for Lovato Saturday night.
Lovato is just one of the many artist who will be playing for the All-Star weekend. Snoop Dogg, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Leona Lewis, Billy Currington, Walk the Moon and the Avett Brothers are all expected to perform in some capacity during the festivities.
