CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - There wasn't a dull moment at the All-Star Block Party. The event included attendees of all ages and thousands packed the streets for good food and fun.
The Budweiser Clydesdales galloped into town as the excitement began to rise in the bustling streets.
"Everybody is loving it. The hamburgers are awesome. The beer is cold. Everybody is having a great time, you look around and it seems like everybody is eating a hamburger," said vendor Greg Lutz.
FOX19 NOW took a stroll down East Freedom Way and there were people enjoying themselves at local bars and restaurants, others at pitching practice.
Those coming from out of town were elated to be amongst the excitement of all the festivities.
"Everybody is just having a good time, nobody seems to be disturbed about anything their just here for one thing. It's just all about baseball," said Mike DiCesare.
"And the atmosphere, we like the atmosphere down here in Cincinnati for the ballgames. There was a strong presence of Reds fans even though they're not necessarily doing so well right now. We have to come out and support them," said Angel Ripperger.
If people didn't want to walk down Freedom Way, they had the option of zip-lining across.
"I'm super excited for this. I want to go on it," said Ian Dew as he approached the zip line. "It looks like it's going to be a load of fun," said Dereck Dew.
