Deputies were alerted to a suspicious package left unattended on the sidewalk at the intersection of Jessup and Cheviot Roads Saturday, according to officials.
The Green Township Police secured the scene and closed the roadways, stated authorities.
According to officials, The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Hazardous Devices Unit responded to inspect the package.
Officials reported that the package was found to be an empty pressure cooker partially concealed in a plastic milk create.
The area was declared safe and traffic resumed at 3:40 p.m.
