The suspect approached the manager from behind as the manager unlocked the front door at Shell gas station off Green Boulevard about 5 a.m., police said in a prepared statement.

He pushed the manager to the ground and announced he was being robbed.

The gunman, who wore a ski mask over his face, ran out the back door.

He is described black, 5-foot-10 and has a thin build. He wore a gray, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and dark gloves.
