AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

The bond was set at $500,000 for the suspect accused of firing bullets into Cincinnati Children's Hospital Center offices, narrowly missing a woman inside.

Kenneth Harris was booked into the Hamilton County jail Tuesday on a felonious assault charge. He faced a judge Wednesday.

According to court records, he fired several rounds about 1:45 a.m. July 13 in the 3400 block of Burnet Avenue.

Some of the bullets struck Children's Hospital offices in the Cincinnati Herald building.

The rounds went through a window and came close to a woman inside a conference room.

No one was hurt.

Dispatchers received several 911 calls about shots fired in the area.

Officers found several shell casings nearby at a gas station parking lot.

In court Wednesday, Harris said that he was being shot at.

The incident prompted Children's Hospital officials to announce they were increasing security.
