MORROW, OH (FOX19) -

A 76-year-old Morrow man will serve three years behind bars after pleading guilty to a combined 29 counts of child pornography.

On July 12, 2014, a search warrant of Benny Gabbard's home by Warren County Sheriff's deputies recovered a thumb drive that contained numerous images of child pornography, according to the Warren County Prosecutor, David Fornshell.

Gabbard pleaded guilty to 19 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

During a routine check of Gabbard's residence in April, a probation officer found a CD containing multiple images of child pornography, according to Fornshell. Gabbard again pleaded guilty to 10 additional counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

On top of the prison sentence, Gabbard has been designated as a Tier II Sexual Offender requiring him to register with the Warren County Sheriff's Office every 180 days for the next 25 years.
