CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The 19-year-old fan who posted on a video selfie of himself running on the field of Great American Ball Park was arrested Thursday night.

Justin Buchanan, of Noblesville, Indiana, faces one count of criminal trespass on a place of public amusement, a misdemeanor.

He is scheduled to appear in Hamilton County Municipal Court July 31 at 12:30 p.m.

Buchanan posted a tweet of himself shortly after running on the field Wednesday night. The tweet quickly went viral.

Just before running on to the field, he sent updates by the hour tweeting things like "Here goes nothing" and "Stay tuned."

Cell phone video shows a man running on the outfield grass of Great American Ball Park during the Reds game against the Chicago Cubs.

The young man ran to Reds' center fielder Billy Hamilton and appeared to attempt to shake Hamilton's hand. The runner proceeded to jump over the center field wall and elude two security guards located near the smoke stacks.
