Two BP gas stations robbed overnight

CAMP WASHINGTON, OH (FOX19) -

BP gas stations were robbed overnight in Cincinnati and Fairfield.

Cincinnati police began searching for a gunman who held up the BP gas station near Camp Washington Chili off Hopple Street and Interstate 75 just after 3 a.m .

A man wearing sunglasses and a black bandana around his head fled with an unknown amount of cash.

He is described as black, 5-foot-9 and in his mid-to-late-20s. He wore black jacket and pants and was armed with a small-caliber silver pistol.

He was last seen running southbound on Colerain Avenue.

About a half hour later, in an unrelated incident, a second BP gas station was held up in Butler County's Fairfield.

Officers are searching for two men who fled the gas station off Ohio 4 and Gilmore Road in a red Chevrolet Geo.

The vehicle was last seen headed toward Forest Park or Springdale.

No immediate injuries were reported in either incident.
