Smash-n-grab burglars strike College Hill businesses

COLLEGE HILL (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police are investigating a series of smash-n-grab burglaries at businesses.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm on Hamilton Avenue near Cedar Avenue just before 4 a.m. Friday.

They found five businesses with doors and windows smashed out, possibly with bricks.

Cash registers were tampered with.

Police are trying to reach business owners. At least one, On Fire Grill, has told FOX19 NOW cash was stolen.

The other businesses are: G & Shirley's Heath Foods, Chung Ching, Portaluca and Lord's Bounty.
