NORTH COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) -

Police arrested a suspect in the Cashland robbery earlier this week.

Samuel Z. Fields, 52, of Forest Park is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail. He faces a judge at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

According to court records, Fields is the gunman who held up Cashland off Goodman Avenue near West Galbraith Road Monday morning.

Officers and a K-9 swarmed the area as the suspect ran off with an unknown amount of cash shortly after 9 a.m.

He got away with $1,400 cash, court records show.

He remained at large until his girlfriend identified him when Forest Park police stopped her and her children.

During that detention, a silver handgun and $351 was recovered, court records show.

Police also searched Fields' residence and found the sunglasses and backpack used in the offense.
