Police: Brass knuckles used in violent attack

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A 33-year-old man is accused of severely beating a victim with a pair of brass knuckles.

Kris Patrick of Cheviot faces a judge Tuesday on one count of felonious assault. He is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail.

According to court records, Patrick punched the victim in the face with brass knuckles on June 22, causing serious injury. Doctors had to wire the man's mouth shut and insert metal plates to hold his chin and jaw in place.

A motive in the attack was not disclosed.
