EAST PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

Despite a crackdown on gun violence this summer, bullets continue to fly at an alarming rate in Cincinnati.

Four shootings erupted in six hours late Thursday and early Friday.

A 4-year-old girl was shot and critically hurt in a drive-by shooting in Avondale about 8:30 p.m. She is fighting for her life at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

A few hours later, a man was shot in the leg on Sparkle Drive in Roselawn. He is expected to recover.

About 11:30 p.m., police say someone opened fire on a 22-year-old man sitting inside a vehicle on Price Avenue at the Flats apartments in East Price HIll.

The vehicle was riddled with bullets, and the man was shot at least once in the back.

He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.

The fourth and final shooting was reported just before 2 a.m. Friday on Gilbert Avenue and East McMillan Street in Walnut Hills.

A father called 911 and said his son was shot by a 17-year-old gunman.

The victim has non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests were made in any of the cases.
