CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Xavier University's basketball program added a consensus top-100 recruit to its 2016 class.
Point guard Quentin Goodin announced his commitment to the Musketeers on his Twitter account Sunday afternoon.
"It's official I'm committed Xavier University. Thanks to everybody who recruited me. Thank God for all the blessings and opportunities," Goodin said in his tweet.
As a junior at Taylor County High School in Kentucky, Goodin averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists a game according 247sports.com.
The consensus 4-star recruit had offers from Indiana, Florida, Louisville, Michigan and Wichita State.
Head coach Chris Mack showed his excitement after the signing tweeting, "X marks the Spot! Great day to be a Musketeer!! #XavierNation."
Goodin joins power forward Tyrique Jones in the Musketeers' 2016 recruiting class.
