3 busted for selling 2 gallons of 'date rape' drug, crystal meth

WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Three people from Georgia were arrested Friday in Warren County after an investigation into the trafficking of GHB, also known as the "date rape" drug, and crystal methamphetamine.

The Warren County Drug Task Force arrested Samuel Ray and Cindy Soeder, of Douglasville, and David Price, of Powder Springs. They were charged with trafficking drugs.

Officials say the three traveled from Georgia to sell two gallons of GHB and a half-pound of crystal meth to an undercover detective for $10,000.

According to the Warren County Drug Task Force, the drugs involved have an estimated street value of $150,000. The bust represents one of the largest seizures of GHB ever in the region.

All three are being held in the Warren County jail.
