BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - A Bond Hill home caught fire for the third time in one week Wednesday morning, according to officials.
Flames from the two-story home could be seen from the Norwood Lateral when crews responded to Yarmouth Avenue near Oberlin around 4:30 a.m. The home was empty and without electricity.
The blaze went through the roof and firefighters used a ladder to drop water into the burning building. The fire appeared to be contained around 5:30 a.m.
District Chief Michael Washington said crews fought a fire at the home on Friday night and one other time in the past week. The fires are considered suspicious and under investigation, said Washington.
