HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The family of a woman who died at the Hamilton County Justice Center in 2014 filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the county Tuesday.
According to the lawsuit, the family of Martie Clarke says the staff did not get her medical care while she was showing signs of distress during a heroin withdrawal while in jail in 2014.

Clarke, 39, was found unresponsive in August of last year by a nurse, according to a release. She had been arrested by the Sharonville Police Department and booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on August 1 of last year.
Medical staff performed life saving measures but were unsuccessful, authorities said.
Clarke had been facing charges of assault and telecommunications harassment, according to a complaint.
