Ohio's first ever tax free weekend

WATCH: No tax weekend in Ohio

OHIO (FOX19) - Ohio's first ever Sales Tax Holiday kicked off August 7, 2015.
The tax free weekend helped back to school-to-school shoppers. Clothing priced less than $75 and school supplies and instructional material priced less than $20 there was no added sales tax.
Some stores in Cincinnati saw a significant boost to their customer base.
"Without having to pay for the sales tax, it's like a little extra bonus on top of all the sale stores normally do," said Staples assistant store manager Daine Blum.
This first Sales Tax Holiday ends at midnight on August 9.
