COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -
The annual 'World's Longest Yard Sale' ran Thursday through Sunday.
The sale is 690 miles long, starting in Michigan and going all the way down to Alabama. This year is the sale's 28th year.
It's also known as the '127 Corridor Sale,' because it runs along Route 127.
One of the most popular stops in the Tri-State is MainStrasse Village in Covington. This year, nearly 100 yard sale vendors are lining Sixth Street and Goebel Park.
Vendor John Gabbard says there are so many things that make this event special.
“People love treasures,” said Gabbard. “That’s why people are out here selling it to them, or to me, or to anybody else. When you look around it’s a gem, it’s a jewel, and you go home and you’re happy. you hold it in your hand, whether it’s an antique or whether it be a record, it’s great.”
Admission to the yard sale is free. Hours in Mainstrasse Village are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
