FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) - A 44-year-old man is accused of viciously attacking and holding his girlfriend at gunpoint against her will over the weekend.
Garland Thurman is scheduled to face a judge Monday on charges of kidnapping, domestic violence, having weapons under disability and receiving stolen property.
Forest Park police arrested him Sunday after they say he hit the woman in her mouth and chest and then held the weapon against her head while threatening to kill her at an apartment in the 600 block of Dewdrop Circle.
Thurman has a history for violent felony convictions and drug trafficking, court records show.
He is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail.
