A student accused of bringing weed brownies to Springboro High School was indicted by a Warren County Grand Jury Monday.
Edward Goschinski distributed the marijuana-laced baked goods to several students and a teacher on April 10, according to court documents.
The teacher contacted law enforcement after realizing the treat was not a “normal-tasting brownie," said Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell. School officials then found a brownie in Goschinski’s locker and sent it to a crime lab to confirm its contents.
Karen Derosa, a spokesperson for Springboro schools, says that Goschinski was a senior during last year's incident and that he graduated and completed the year.
Goschinski is charged with corrupting another with drugs, possession of hashish, and contributing to unruliness or delinquency of a child.
