Police search for driver who purposely hit pedestrian and fled

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police said they are searching for a motorist who struck a pedestrian on purpose and sped off early Thursday.

The pedestrian said a man he knows in his 40s hit him with a vehicle on Karla Avenue off Roberts Avenue about 5 a.m., said Lt. Tm Brown, the night chief.

The victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A description of the driver and vehicle were not immediately available.
